Average length of procedure 15-60 minutes depending on the number of teeth/roots to be removed.What can I expect following tooth / root removal?
Minor discomfort which can be easily controlled with painkillers of your choice.Avoid hot drinks until the anaesthetic has worn off.
Avoid crisps, toast etc for a few days as the crumbs may irritate the operation site.
Sleeping upright on a few extra pillows for 48 hours may help to reduce any swelling.
Bruising/swelling will peak at 48 hours and then quickly subside.
