Adult and paediatric ENT surgery and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Simon Watts was medically trained in South Africa before moving to the UK and undertaking his specialist ENT training in the North East. It was here that he was awarded the Joseph fellowship by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgeons enabling a sub-specialist training in facial plastics in the Netherlands, Germany and the United States. He then passed the American Board exams in facial plastic surgery before moving south to take up a consultant post based in Brighton. This post encompasses his sub-specialist fields of facial plastic surgery, rhinology and endoscopic sinus surgery plus he is responsible for all ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery teaching at the Brighton Medical School. His private practice covers most cosmetic and functional facial plastic surgery procedures but his particular field of interest is in the sphere of rhinoplasty (nose jobs) and nasal reconstruction. To this end he is currently conducting research within these areas plus he lectures and teaches on courses nationally. Outside of his career, Simon lives in Brighton, is married to Julie and they share a passion for alpine skiing, water-sports and travel. He is a member of: he European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), Facial Plastic Surgery UK (FPS-UK), British Association of Otolaryngologists and Head & Neck Surgeons
