Thyroid surgery. Salivary gland surgery. General ear, nose and throat surgery for adults and children.

Robert Sergeant qualified in London in 1967 and went on to train as a General Surgeon, obtaining his FRCS in London. He then trained as an ENT Surgeon at the Royal National Throat, Nose and Ear Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children, and in Brighton. He obtained his Fellowship in ENT in Edinburgh. He is currently Consultant Surgeon in Otolaryngology with the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead.

Mr Sergeant has a special interest in thyroid surgery. Generally he covers all adult and paediatric ENT diagnosis and surgical procedures.

In the past he has been Regional Adviser for the Royal College of Surgeons and Chairman of the South East Thames Regional Training Committee.

Mr Sergeant sees private patients at the McIndoe Surgical Centre in East Grinstead, and also at the Nuffield Hospital in Tunbridge Wells. His secretary can be contacted on 01892 512506.
