Consultant plastic surgeon with a special interest in skin lesions and cancers. Mr K Cullen graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1977. He moved to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge in 1983 and obtained his registrar training in London, at both South-west and North-east Thames regional centres. He moved as Senior Registrar to Sheffield in 1987. After obtaining his accreditation in plastic surgery he spent six months in the University of Bordeaux as a microsurgical fellow, followed by six months in the Royal Marsden Hospital performing oncological surgery. Mr Cullen was appointed to his current post at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead in 1991. He considers himself to be a general plastic surgeon with interests in cutaneous and cancer surgery. He was Lead Clinician in Plastic Surgery for five years, has chaired the Queen Victoria Hospital Consultants’ Committee and is was Deputy Medical Director of the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Trust. He has held various positions in the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Trust, including Lead Clinician in Plastic Surgery for five years, chairman of the Consultants' Committee, Deputy Medical Director and is presently Clinical Director, Plastic Surgery 2010/11.
