Mr Tighe has a special interest in the management of head and neck cancer with functional reconstruction of the face and jaws including microvascular surgery techniques.

Mr Tighe is qualified in both dentistry (Bristol 1986) and medicine (London 1995) and is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead Hospital. In his private practice, Mr Tighe has a special interest in dental implantology, including associated bone grafting techniques and enjoys close working relationships with local dental practitioners providing implant superstructure work. In addition, Mr Tighe would welcome referrals for all other aspects of oral surgery including impacted teeth, root surgery (apicectomy), jaw cysts, facial lesions, soft and hard tissue facial trauma, facial pain and salivary gland conditions as well as head and neck cancer.
