Mr Collyer qualified in both dentistry at Guy’s Dental Hospital in 1992 and in medicine at Southampton Medical School in 1997.
He was appointed as Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead and East Surrey Hospital in March 2006.

Referrals are welcome in all areas of oral and maxillofacial surgery from both general practitioners and dental surgeons. Mr Collyer has special interests in orthognathic surgery, salivary gland surgery, surgical dermatology and secondary facial reconstruction following trauma.
His research interests include 3-D imaging and the use of navigational surgery in secondary orbital reconstruction. Mr Collyer runs joint orthognathic clinics at both the Queen Victoria Hospital and East Surrey Hospital. He is also part of the skin and facial palsy multi-disciplinary teams at the Queen Victoria Hospital.
